Pride Week 2026!
Each year, OUT&about Wānaka hosts Pride Week, celebrating LGBTQI+ visibility, connection, and community in Wānaka. The journey began in 2023 with the first Pride Street Party — a one-day, all-ages event at the Lake Wānaka Centre featuring markets, live performances, and Wānaka’s first Living Library.
In 2024, Pride grew into Wānaka’s first full Pride Week, with a vibrant programme of events including a Queer Film Festival, Living Library sessions, Rainbow Awareness Training, Pride Bingo, Drag Karaoke, a second Pride Street Party, and Pride After Dark.
Pride Week will return in 2026. Mark your calendars and check back for more information as plans and dates are confirmed.
